Tenacious 23, the Annual Sports Meet of Manchester International School was held with great pomp on 12 January 2023. Mr. S Senthil Valavan, Director, International Airport Coimbatore inaugurated and declared the meet open. Chairman, Dr. P S Moorthi and the Correspondent Mrs. Priya Moorthi presided over the opening ceremony. Around thousand students, their parents, family and friends were present to witness the gala opening ceremony and the most spirited event of the school.

Mr. Valavan honoured 14 students from the Early Years to Grade 12 who have demonstrated greater tenacity and much greater resilience in their pursuit of excellence in various sports disciplines. They were honoured with the title, "Icon of Manchester."

The sparkling performances by the students from Pre KG to grade 12 in the opening ceremony was the most befitting start to a mega event.

Our young Manchesterians' unparalleled enthusiasm, dogged determination, and active involvement, outlived the scorching heat.
