The Evolution of my playlist
Music is like a special friend that grows with you. My musical tastes have changed a lot over the years, just like I have grown and changed!
When I was very young, maybe in kindergarten, my playlist was full of happy, bouncy songs for kids. I loved songs about animals, colours, and silly adventures. These songs made me feel joyful and excited, and they were perfect for dancing around the living room. They taught me simple rhymes and made me smile.
As I got a little older, in primary school, I started listening to pop music. I loved the catchy tunes and upbeat rhythms. Songs by popular artists would make me want to sing along at the top of my lungs, even if I didn't always know all the words! Pop music was all about having fun with my friends, sharing new songs we discovered, and feeling energetic. It made me feel connected to what was popular and exciting.
Now that I'm in Class 7, my musical taste is still changing, but it's becoming more varied. I still like some pop, but I've also started exploring other genres. For example, I've discovered some beautiful classical music that helps me relax when I'm studying or feeling a bit stressed. The calm melodies make me feel peaceful and focused. I've also started listening to some folk music, which often tells stories and uses instruments like guitars and violins. These songs make me feel thoughtful and sometimes a little bit nostalgic, even for things I haven't experienced myself.
Sometimes, I even like listening to movie soundtracks because they can make me feel like I'm part of an adventure or a grand story. Each genre brings a different feeling and helps me express different parts of myself. My playlist is like a diary of my feelings and experiences, showing how my world and my understanding of it are growing every day. It's exciting to think about what new music I will discover next!
