Houses

The House System brings together students across grade levels at Manchester International School -CBSE- in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India.

The four-house system at Manchester International School is one of the important characteristics of our School. The house system allows for continuous feedback and is thus a valuable tool for building a strong and close community within our Manchester International School-CBSE. Our four houses are named after the famous Horses of fame- Tennessee, Oldenburg, Skyros, Morgan and each is assigned a colour and emblem representative of unity, compassion, determination and loyalty. Throughout the year, these four houses will compete against each other for points which have the potential to earn their house various rewards that are awarded on quarterly and yearly basis. The goal of the House System is to provide an opportunity for students and faculty to interact across grade levels. In doing so, the school community will benefit from positive peer pressure, increased school spirit, and healthy competition.
