At Manchester International School, we believe in nurturing talent both in the classroom and on the field. Our Under-19 boys' handball team recently proved their mettle at the Kovai Sahodhaya Handball Championship, held in Erode, by securing a remarkable second place in this prestigious tournament.
The championship witnessed fierce competition, with teams from various schools showcasing their best. Our young athletes stood out for their exceptional skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, making every match a thrilling experience. Each player demonstrated determination and resilience, leaving no stone unturned to bring glory to the school.
The journey to the finals was no easy feat, with the boys overcoming challenging opponents and tough matches. Their performance was a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the guidance of their coaches. While they narrowly missed the top spot, their achievement of securing the runner-up position is a matter of immense pride for the entire Manchester International School community.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the team for their stellar performance and for representing the school with such dignity and spirit. Their success is an inspiration to all our students, reminding us of the power of perseverance and teamwork.
